- What is the difference between Enquiry Agent, Booking Agent, and Sales Agent?
- There are three plans. Enquiry Agent (from £9.99 a month) saves leads and sends you a summary — you call back. Booking Agent (£49 a month) links to Google Calendar, books during the call, and confirms to the customer. Sales Agent (£99 a month) adds business-to-business tools: email follow-ups, deeper lead questions, and sales stats.
- How does pay-as-you-go pricing work?
- Enquiry Agent costs £9.99 a month for your UK number, then £0.25 for each answered minute. You only pay when MIA picks up. Missed calls cost nothing. Good for a trial or fewer than about twenty calls a month.
- How much does one call cost?
- It depends on your plan. Enquiry Agent: about £0.25 a minute (pay as you go). Booking Agent: about £0.33 a minute if you use the 150 minutes in the £49 monthly bundle. Sales Agent: about £0.20 a minute if you use the 500 minutes in the £99 bundle. Most calls last two to three minutes.
- Which plan fits a busy restaurant or hotel desk?
- Most pick Booking Agent. It links to Google Calendar, books tables or time slots, captures party size and notes, sends confirmations, and keeps WhatsApp, SMS, and email in sync. Enquiry Agent is enough if you only need capture and briefs at low volume.
- Which plan fits accountants, lawyers, or consultants?
- Start with Enquiry Agent or Booking Agent for structured intake and meeting booking. Add Sales Agent when you want deeper B2B qualification, email sequences, and pipeline stats.
- Which plan fits business-to-business sales?
- Sales Agent fits teams that sell to other companies. It asks strong qualification questions, can run email follow-ups, books meetings across your reps, and shows simple sales stats.
- Can MIA write in my Google Calendar?
- Yes on Booking Agent or Sales Agent. You connect Google once. MIA reads free time, offers slots, adds the booking, and can send SMS and email with a calendar file attached.
- Does MIA confirm bookings to customers?
- Yes on Booking Agent and Sales Agent. It can send a fast SMS, an email with a map link, a reminder the day before, and an optional reminder on the day. Your business name appears on the messages.
- How does my team see new leads?
- MIA sends a short summary to your inbox and app. You see contact details, what they want, how urgent it is, and a suggested next step.
- How is MIA different from a call centre?
- Call centres mostly relay messages. MIA ties voice, chat, and email into one inbox, can book real calendar time, and—for hospitality—feeds the same data your floor team sees. You pay a plan plus clear extra-minute rates on voice.
- How is MIA different from a single-channel AI phone bot?
- MIA is a platform: unified comms, CRM-style records, diary coordination, and optional hospitality operations—not only answering the phone. Three UK plans cover capture, booking, and B2B sales depth with public pricing.
- How do you count call minutes?
- We round up to the next full minute. Two minutes fifteen seconds counts as three minutes. Only answered calls use minutes. Missed calls and calls you pick up yourself do not count. Extra minutes beyond your plan are billed at the rate shown for your tier.
- Can I change plan later?
- Yes. Change any time in the app. Upgrades start at once. Downgrades start on your next bill date. Your number, settings, and history stay with you. We do not charge a change fee.
- What if I go over my included minutes?
- We warn you at eighty percent and at one hundred percent. You can move to a bigger plan or keep going and pay for extra minutes. The service keeps running. You can set spend alerts in the app.
- How long is setup?
- Most teams go live in under five minutes. Sign up, pick a plan, set your greeting, and you get a UK number. For Booking Agent, link Google Calendar in two clicks. For Sales Agent, set routing and qualification questions. You do not need a developer.
- Must I change my main phone number?
- No. Each plan includes a UK number. You can use it as your main line, forward your old line when busy, show both numbers, or move your number later where we support it. Many teams forward overflow calls to MIA.
- Does MIA work at night?
- Yes. It answers every day including nights, weekends, and bank holidays. You can use one greeting in the day and another at night. You can still take bookings or messages after you close.
- Is there a long contract?
- No. You pay month to month. Cancel in the app any time. No exit fee. No notice period.
- How do you take payment?
- We bill each month on the date you joined. We take major cards through Stripe. You get an email invoice. Large teams can ask about yearly billing. Prices may exclude VAT.
- Does MIA follow UK data rules (GDPR)?
- We built MIA for UK teams and follow GDPR-style rules. Transcripts and optional recordings stay in secure UK or EU storage. Some AI steps may use approved partners outside the UK, such as OpenAI. You can ask us to delete data. Large customers can sign a Data Processing Agreement. We tell callers when a call is recorded where the law says we must.
